Kerri's Testimonial
I moved to LA to pursue my dreams… famous actress/trophy wife. I went to church only when there was parking and did things exactly the way I planned them. Funny how even though I was getting worldly success and appearing on General Hospital and The Tonight Show, and my mom had things to brag about at bridge I wasn't happy. I knew something had to change. I silently prayed one night while sitting in a show… ‘God I just want to perform… however You see fit. I just want to come back to You.’

That was the most powerful prayer because the very next day things changed. I started a ministry called Act in Faith that provides original dramas for churches with Hollywood actors and directors. In the midst of that, God led me to stand up comedy. Not only did He want me to talk about HIM, He wanted me to do it in Hollywood where He wasn't getting much stage time. I said YES and everything took off from there. It’s been my honor and passion to go out, talk about HIM and what He’s doing in my life, to people from all walks of life—and I'm loving every minute of it. One night I'm in a comedy club and the next day I get to preach the gospel. It's the best of both worlds and I also enjoy speaking to groups at retreats and really sharing the heart of God. I even got to host the Gospel Music Awards Pre Show and meet some of my music heros. God has been so good to me. I never thought I'd be on the red carpet representing Him. But I'm proud to be a Christian in Hollywood. If it's teen girls or singles, women's or families. I'm always happy to share my story and some laughs.

I never imagined the doors that would open for me to share my faith on and off stage in the world of comedy and Hollywood but once I said YES to God's plans. I've been on the ride of my life ever since. Whether it's a college, women's group, or audience of thousands my life is a walking testimony and according to my mother, I'm pretty funny too!
