When organizing an event you worry about decorations, the menu, room temperature, the sound system – details piled on top of details – but mostly you worry about whether or not your guests are going to have a good time. During our annual fundraiser, Evening of Comedy, Kerri Pomarolli was our headline act and she was quite impressive. The minute she took the stage we weren’t worried about whether or not everyone was having fun – it was evident that she was an instant hit. Kerri’s humor and humility kept our guests laughing, and it was the kind of laughter that makes you want more. Her brilliant entertaining style also allowed her to bring in an element of compassion about the services we provide as a not-for-profit organization.
